Ambition and Progression
Firstly, I feel honoured and priveleged to be captain of Heaton Park Golf Club for the 2024 season. I Remember my first ever golfing experience as a child was going down to Heaton Park with my dad and hitting a few balls. When I decided to take up the game of golf as my main sport, Heaton Park was always going to be my number one choice.
I have lots of ideas and ambitions for the club over the next year, my main aim is to grow our membership and encourage more players to join to build upon our core group of people who play regularly at the Park. The park is a place for players of all abilites and ages and so I aim to revamp our junior section at the club as they will be the ones who keep the club going for years to come. As a result, we as a club have decided that Junior memberships with be free going forward, get in touch, we’d love to hear from you.
